Ted Polhemus is an American anthropologist. He has produced books such as Streetstyle which document the different groups and identities of our culture and their relationships with each other.
Currently at The Book Club, Shoreditch, Polhemus has an exhibition of his Streetstyle ideology and book. I recommend taking some time out to visit and enjoy the exhibition, maybe with lunch there and a glass of wine :-)
This is my favourite photograph from the exhibition. A picture says a thousand words. Just because the photograph is in black and white doesn't mean it's not vibrant.
