Holidaying, Jollydaying

OKAY SO STUPID PICTURE ALERT:

BUT, as previously demonstrated, I do have a major love affair with black and gold. (Infact, I still love the black and gold song by sam sparro...)

Anyhow. Yes I donned this top (one of my favourite styles of top atm). I'm normally a dresses gal and HATE bodycons but only because they don't suit my figure. However I frequently donn one with a top such as this. This was in the sale from H&M at a snip at £15, cool (as in thin) and baggy it definitely made the humid weather more bearable.
And the glasses just SCREAM cool, non? :-)

I'm gonna leave it at this for now, next time I buy something sexy I shall remember to visit my blog,

I could have daaaaanced all night

Right. So. I've been far far away from the land of blog for a very long time. But only because I have no idea how to use it, let's be honest here. I've had my Leaver's Ball. And it was beautiful and eventful and memorable. I was looking to don an ASOS Black Cappuccino One Frill Shoulder Dress, short and mink in colour it's actually SENSATIONAL. But unfortunately it didn't suit my shape (ahem lack of volume up top and ultra addition of volume in the stomach area) :-)

I HATE THESE BRIDESMAID STYLE BALL GOWN DRESSES. With the thick shiny two-tone satin. MAJOR BLEURGH. And I'm not one to wear ordinary things, so I opted for a short length to try and highlight at least SOME ASSETT.

So, after a generous amount of searching on the internet, I was reminded of Blonde&Wise. I have a hitch skirt from them I bought at Clothes Show Live Birmingham. And a dress in a blue silk that I bought for my 17th...

not THE BEST picture, I admit, I was full of tequila by this moment in time :-)

So yeah, keeping with the ruffle shoulder, short length (with a touch of the hitch skirt that I am fond of (in a kind of All-Saints style-eeee)) It's known as a trench dress, you'll understand.. AND A SENSATIONAL COLOUR WITH SENSATIONAL SHOES (£60 from Topshop about 2 years ago, I've only worn them once before and it was with said, previous dress :-)

Okay so here goes, and STOPPING WITH THE RANTING AND WAFFLING...

Make-up courtesy of MAC (my girl was at meadowhall in sheffield - she's gorgeous and an absolute genius, I didn't even know what I was going to look like or actually looked like until she'd finished!)
and hair courtesy of my wonderful hairdresser, whose at Xclusive in Horbury :-)

RIGHT, I have many more events to blog, but I'm shattered.

Good Night and Good Luck x

I do love the sun!

So, this morning I did the Race For Life...

Sweltering heat + mountainous climbs = no fun-loving fashion. Just an outfit to get me through the day!

However, me and the mother did decide to do a spot of shopping this afternoon in Leeds...

so I decided to don this rather 70's seeming outfit...

With the long sleeves that are tighter around the wrist, the cinched in waist, and the billowing floor length chiffon skirt... this dress reminds me of a classic Ossie Clark dress.
But it was only from H&M and cost me £30! :-)

I teamed it with this grey leather satchel from Dorothy Perkins..

and ordinary last season black gladiators (shameful to wear old fashioned glads but I have no more money!!

the sunglasses make up for it though yeah? :-)

Summer!

SUMMER IS POSSIBLY HERE!!!!!

I bought this amazing bag from Accessorize the other day for £20..

And so I added this new beautiful handbag addition and wore it with my outfit I wore to my Grandma's birthday tea-party!

Demin shirts are high-street FAVES at the mo, teamed with Zara last season harems. Cool in every sense!

And my Saturday night outfit this week? A charity party in Barnsley for the hospice, but it was meant to be kept casual. So i opted for black and gold theme. Black and gold KG boots (unseen), black lace leggings (£1 primark), black and gold dress-Miss Selfrige and a black blazer with immense shoulder pads (in the sale at £20!) -a bargain outfit I believe :)

such amazing weather last night, a barbecue was in hand :) I wore a Kate moss for Topshop dress from a few seasons ago (would still look great at a festival now, floral but not pretty) with brown ankle gladiators. No need for a jacket thanks to the Sun God's presence of late :)
